ABOUT THE TEAM
The Core team plays a critical role in enabling all engineering teams at Rocket Money to operate efficiently by ensuring that our foundational systems are reliable and easy to build upon. We are responsible for the evolution of platforms and services that are central to our product and company operations, including:
- Authentication (registration, login, account access, and user lifecycle workflows)
- Data Privacy and Trust Systems (handling privacy requests, user deletions, and secure management of sensitive data)
- AI Enablement (providing shared AI infrastructure and tools that other teams use to create exceptional product experiences)
- Internal Tooling (developing admin tools, operational systems, and data integrations to enhance the effectiveness of our operations and engineering teams)

IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL:
- Develop and manage Core services and platforms that underpin essential systems like authentication, data privacy workflows, AI capabilities, and internal tools.
- Take ownership of projects from inception to completion: defining problems, designing solutions, implementing changes, launching, and ensuring ongoing reliability.
- Collaborate closely with product engineers, data teams, and operations colleagues to create systems that are safe, scalable, and user-friendly.
