Your Role:
As a Senior Gameplay Animator, you will be a vital member of our expanding Gameplay Animation team, working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic AAA setting. You will take ownership of your projects, creating animations that engage and excite players.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement high-quality gameplay animations (combat, locomotion, traversal) with exceptional responsiveness and clarity.
- Adapt animations to adhere to gameplay constraints, ensuring they meet our artistic vision.
- Utilize keyframes and motion capture data, refining and energizing animations to align with the overall artistic direction.
- Export and rigorously test animations using our proprietary tools.
- Engage in the prototyping and refinement of gameplay animation systems, ensuring they work seamlessly with game mechanics.
- Collaborate closely with various teams, including Animation Art Directors, Lead Animators, Game Designers, Gameplay Programmers, and Technical Animators, to enhance the gaming experience.
- Continuously evaluate and iterate on animations to maintain high quality and performance across the project.
