Objective:
The primary goal is to ensure the effective management of the Accor Insurance Program by promoting adherence to group policies and contracts, thereby mitigating operational, reputational, and liability risks. This role involves managing claims KPIs and ensuring compliance with contractual clauses through collaboration with Hotels, Investors, Asset Managers, Brokers, Insurers, Offices, and the Accor Insurance Team, along with other business areas.
Main Responsibilities:
- Promote and implement insurance policies at hotels and with regional owners, ensuring compliance with Accor's global policy, local laws, and minimum requirements outlined in management contracts, franchises, SCP, and others.
- Identify non-compliant hotels regarding coverage requirements and limits, collaborating with investors to address any irregularities or non-conformities with established insurance rules.
- Implement the Accor Insurance Program for hotels and headquarters, coordinating with regional brokers/insurers, providing information, monitoring document processing and payments, and ensuring adherence to policy renewal timelines.
- Act as a liaison with the global Accor insurance team, ensuring the maintenance and dissemination of the Accor Insurance Program and its principles throughout the region.
- Maintain strong relationships with Hotels, Investors, Brokers, Insurers, Offices, and the Accor Insurance Team, while interacting with other business areas to focus on service excellence and enhance adherence to the Accor insurance program in the region.
- Negotiate, implement, and/or renew local policies in accordance with Accor's global policy and local regulations.
- Manage claims by contacting the broker and overseeing the investigation and payment processes.
- Support insurance due diligence in M&A processes.
- Oversee financial operations in the area, monitoring indicators and results.
- Prepare reports and presentations related to the area.
- Embody the values of Accor and adhere to current internal policies.
- Perform other related duties as required by the area and as directed by the immediate supervisor.
