Your Role
As a vital member of our Law & Policy team, you will be the key legal advisor for DuckDuckGo's subscription services. Your expertise will ensure compliance across various jurisdictions while facilitating rapid business growth. You will play an essential role in expanding DuckDuckGo’s subscription services internationally by navigating complex legal frameworks essential for market entry. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing, and finance teams to integrate legal considerations into daily operations and projects.
Key Projects You Will Undertake:
Developing the legal framework for subscriptions to adapt and implement evolving requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Reviewing and providing guidance on in-product notifications, terms of service, and marketing content related to DuckDuckGo's subscription offerings.
Conducting legal analyses on online payments, free trials, promotional offers, and multi-jurisdictional auto-renewal notifications.
