Your Role
We are on the lookout for a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer to be a key player in our Voice Model (ASR/STT) engineering team within the AI & Clinical Products division.
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development of the ASR backbone that underpins our AI offerings, enabling healthcare professionals to streamline documentation processes and devote more time to patient care. You will collaborate within a feature team to enhance the speech recognition capabilities of Doctolib's AI-driven solutions, including the Consultation Assistant and Phone Assistant.
Joining our tech team means contributing to innovative products and features that significantly enhance the daily experiences of healthcare teams and patients alike. Our work is conducted in agile feature teams, fostering collaboration with product, design, and business units.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Leading the ASR development cycle: from model design and training to evaluation and product integration for high-quality medical-grade speech recognition.
- Working closely with MLOps to ensure that our training and inference pipelines are scalable, cost-effective, and reliable in production settings.
- Engaging with product, design, and clinical teams to convert user requirements into quantifiable technical goals.
- Driving continuous enhancements in WER, medical term error rates, latency, diarization, domain adaptation, and multilingual capabilities.
