Key Responsibilities:
· Execute advanced break-fix and preventative maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues through observation, disassembling equipment to access and replace faulty components, inspecting parts for defects, adjusting functional components, performing repairs, and testing both electrical and mechanical systems. Also includes the reconditioning and repair of machine tools.
· Identify and procure necessary parts, supplies, and repairs. Evaluate options to enhance equipment reliability and reduce costs.
· Conduct maintenance activities in accordance with established industry standards independently.
· Collaborate with the Planner Scheduler to refine preventative maintenance strategies.
· Set up and manage various machining operations, such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools for part fabrication and repair, including welding tasks as required.
· Maintain compliance with 5S and cleanliness standards.
· Lead and engage in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, utilizing CI tools and methodologies to drive process enhancements and cost savings.
· Mentor junior technicians and support project teams in achieving expert-level maintenance functions as part of training and development.
· Troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems to address intricate software, hardware, and configuration issues.
· Employ predictive maintenance technologies to gather and analyze equipment performance data, observe trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
· Maintain updated records, reviewing CMMS history, and performing data analysis.
· Facilitate on-the-job training and self-directed technical study programs to foster career growth.
· Adhere to all safety policies, rules, and regulations, demonstrating situational awareness and identifying unsafe practices and conditions.
