Role Overview:
Join Match Group, the parent company of renowned global brands like Tinder and Hinge, along with leading regional platforms such as Japan’s Pairs, as we seek an experienced Corporate Affairs professional to spearhead our engagement with policymakers, regulators, media, and key stakeholders throughout the Asia Pacific region. This pivotal role is essential for shaping our public narrative, strengthening institutional alliances, and nurturing a regulatory landscape that promotes innovation, ensures user safety, and fosters responsible growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic visionary with a proven history of navigating the realms of corporate communications, public affairs, and government relations.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design and implement comprehensive corporate affairs strategies that integrate corporate communications, government relations, and advocacy, delivering coordinated public affairs and communications campaigns in collaboration with public sector officials, NGOs, and industry allies.
● Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with media outlets, policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and civil society to ensure consistent and credible engagement.
● Direct regional corporate communications initiatives, including media strategy, messaging, and issues management.
● Represent Match Group’s viewpoints with national and local stakeholders, both directly and through coalitions and trade associations, acting as a spokesperson at industry events, policy forums, and coalitions as needed.
● Facilitate and support high-level interactions between company executives and government, regulatory, and industry leaders through briefings, messaging, and preparation of materials.
● Establish and manage a network of trusted third-party validators and advocates to endorse and amplify corporate narratives and public policy positions.
● Collaborate closely with internal teams (Business, Legal, Safety) and external advisors to ensure cohesive messaging, coordinated communications, and effective policy engagement.
● Contribute to crafting corporate narratives, media materials, policy positions, white papers, and consultation responses on issues pertinent to the region.
