The Opportunity:
The Senior Manager of Finance Transformation will be a pivotal architect and change leader for Mattel's global Record-to-Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C), Requisition to Pay (R2P), and Plan-to-Perform (P2P) processes and systems. This role will spearhead enterprise-level optimization by designing and operationalizing standardized end-to-end business processes, improving system capabilities, and facilitating high-performance execution across the finance ecosystem. Additionally, this leader will design and implement the Finance Data Governance Program. The ideal candidate will possess extensive Oracle Cloud Finance expertise, complemented by a strong transformation mindset to harmonize processes, technology, and organizational alignment.
Your Impact:
Strategic Process Ownership & Transformation
- Oversee the global Record-to-Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C), Requisition to Pay (R2P), and Plan-to-Perform (P2P) processes and systems, ensuring a scalable, standardized, and future-oriented operating model.
- Lead the development, harmonization, and continuous enhancement of end-to-end global business processes that bolster control, efficiency, and data integrity.
- Drive alignment between global process designs, regional variations, and cross-functional business requirements.
- Design and execute the Finance Data Governance Program.
Oracle Cloud Finance Leadership
- Act as the enterprise Subject Matter Expert across Oracle Cloud Finance modules, exhibiting deep functional expertise in GL, FA, CM, AP, AR, Projects, and related integrations.
- Lead application support, release management, configuration governance, and roadmap planning for Oracle Cloud within the finance domain.
- Evaluate, interpret, and proactively communicate the business impact of system changes, new functionalities, and inter-module dependencies.
Change Enablement & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with global process owners, functional leaders, and IT to promote adoption of redesigned processes and system enhancements.
- Translate intricate system changes into business-ready narratives, ensuring clarity for executive teams and regional finance units.
- Advocate for a data-driven culture that prioritizes strong controls, consistent reporting frameworks, and integrated planning capabilities.
Operational Excellence & Governance
- Establish and manage frameworks for process governance, performance tracking, and KPI-driven continuous improvement.
- Supervise issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and mitigation strategies related to global finance processes and Oracle Cloud functionalities.
- Ensure compliance with audit, SOX, and internal control requirements across the finance technology stack.
