West Monroe is on the lookout for a Senior Manager with extensive experience and a fervent interest in the Software and High-Tech sectors to enhance our national practice. Our team collaborates with a diverse range of dynamic Software and High-Tech, Private Equity, and Corporate Strategic clients across the country.
In your role as a Senior Manager, you will provide strategic guidance to Software and High-Tech clients as well as Private Equity investors, emphasizing software, SaaS, TMT, and tech-enabled services businesses. Your engagements will cover value creation initiatives, including product and growth strategy, technological innovation, operational enhancements, and due diligence—spanning product, technology, and operational assessments, along with merger integrations and carve-outs.
Beyond client delivery, you will play a vital role in business development—seeking new clients and nurturing existing relationships—while also contributing to the internal leadership of our practice. Senior Managers at West Monroe are entrusted with three primary responsibilities:
Client Delivery
- Lead rapid due diligence engagements for Private Equity and Corporate Strategic clients investing in Software and High-Tech, assessing market opportunities, product technologies, operating models, and their impact on margins, revenues, growth, and overall value creation.
- Evaluate functional and technology investment strategies, benchmarking operational models and organizational structures against industry-leading practices.
- Oversee teams serving Software and High-Tech clients while showcasing advisory skills with high-level client executives, including C-suite leaders, Business Unit GMs, and Private Equity Deal and Operating Partners.
- Drive value creation projects for Software and High-Tech companies and Private Equity clients.
- Engage in complex transactions within the Software and High-Tech sector, focusing on initiatives like post-merger integration, carve-outs/divestitures, operating model transformations, product strategy, target operating model development, and enhancements in post-sales operations and retention.
Practice Development
- Create data-driven methodologies and resources for effective practice development.
