This position is onsite, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, requiring flexibility. This role is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Taking ownership and leading essential HR functions to ensure alignment with business objectives and overarching company strategies.
- Fostering a performance-oriented culture through effective performance management coaching and counseling techniques.
- Maintaining a keen awareness of employee engagement and needs, while gathering insights from employee off-boarding and exit interviews.
- Managing front-line HR operations including employee support, compensation communication, onboarding/offboarding processes, leave management, workers' compensation, benefits administration, HR data management, employee relations, immigration matters, and reporting.
- Reviewing, interpreting, and enforcing compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws as well as company policies, partnering with Employee Relations and legal on agency charge responses.
- Overseeing a small team comprising a Senior Associate, Associate, and office coordinator.
- Providing training support across all employee levels.
- Collaborating with the Management team to comprehend business goals and anticipate future staffing needs.
- Proactively developing and implementing alternative staffing sources.
- Collaborating strategically with management to recruit new hires based on production demands.
- Offering coaching and guidance to leaders and employees on employment matters such as policy interpretation, corrective actions, leaves of absence, development plans, and terminations.
- Conducting interventions, fact-finding, and conflict resolution as needed.
- Delivering, monitoring, coaching, and guiding both technical and non-technical training for Distribution Center Supervisors and non-exempt associates.
- Participating in special projects as assigned.
