About the Team:
The Structures and Mechanisms team oversees the entire design, build, and testing lifecycle of Terran R's integrated structures and flight mechanisms. Whether you’re focusing on dynamic mechanisms or robust structures, you will have the opportunity for hands-on hardware ownership, witnessing the rocket take shape on the factory floor. Our team is unified under a single department, synergizing design principles, tools, and an integrated approach for a holistic perspective on Terran R. Team members actively engage with multiple components across subsystems and are empowered to make decisions that directly affect flight hardware. Beyond the inaugural flight, you will play an essential role in enhancing manufacturability and advancing our engineering capabilities.
