Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of the Project Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards.
Evaluate and authorize Mechanical Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Quality Procedures to maintain high-quality benchmarks.
Perform detailed inspections on mechanical installations including piping, pressure vessels, tanks, structural supports, rotating/static equipment, and welding operations.
Collaborate effectively with construction, engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams to uphold quality standards.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, ISO, and specific client specifications.
Supervise and conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), pressure testing, hydro testing, pneumatic testing, and pre-commissioning activities.
Identify and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring that all corrective and preventive actions are executed successfully.
Conduct internal audits for quality assurance and assist with external/client audits.
Engage with clients, consultants, third-party inspectors, and certification agencies to ensure alignment and compliance.
Review material submissions, vendor documentation, and inspection reports for quality assurance.
Maintain comprehensive quality records, inspection reports, test certificates, and turnover documentation.
Support mechanical completion activities, system handover processes, and final documentation necessary for project closure.
