Your Role:
As a Senior Originator based in our Paris office, you will report directly to the Head of Origination France and collaborate with a team of talented originators. Your primary focus will be on the comprehensive origination of new business opportunities in France while supporting the management of our existing portfolio and driving business development initiatives.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, negotiate, and execute structured energy transactions in the French market, particularly focusing on long-term battery offtake agreements.
- Assist in pricing BESS income streams, accounting for ancillary market revenues and optimizer performance.
- Contribute to the expansion of our portfolio, including non-standard power, multi-commodity contracts, and guarantees of origin (GoO) contracts in France.
- Enhance the team's understanding of market fundamentals, including power and GoOs within France.
- Build and maintain relationships with major electricity consumers, including industrial clients, corporates, suppliers, and retailers.
- Develop connections with upstream generators, IPPs, project developers, investors, banks, utilities, and merchant traders.
- Collaborate closely with other Origination and Portfolio Management team members to drive new deal origination, structuring, and pricing to grow and optimize the portfolio.
- Oversee the entire deal approval process with internal stakeholders, taking full ownership of the implementation of new deals and products, as well as contract management throughout their lifecycle.
