The Opportunity
In the pivotal role of Senior Pricing Manager, you will have the unique chance to establish this critical function within a thriving enterprise software environment. Collaborating closely with our Chief Product Officer, you will influence how Vasion packages, positions, and monetizes its offerings. You will immediately lead a foundational pricing strategy engagement with a prestigious external consultancy.
This strategic, high-visibility position is ideal for someone who excels at the convergence of data analysis, market insight, and compelling business narratives, with the ability to translate robust strategies into actionable business plans.

What You’ll Own
Pricing Strategy Development (Year 1 Priority)
- Lead the execution of Vasion's foundational pricing and packaging strategy in partnership with an external consultancy, ensuring alignment with our product portfolio and growth objectives.
- Act as the internal liaison for the consulting engagement, providing business insights, validating assumptions, and ensuring actionable recommendations.
- Transform consulting outputs into practical internal frameworks, sales tools, and governance policies for internal adoption.
- Establish a durable pricing strategy that is self-sustaining and not reliant on external consultants, building internal capabilities along the way.
- Manage the transition of pricing models as Vasion evolves from legacy systems to modern SaaS and AI-enhanced offerings, focusing on customer retention and value maximization.
- Develop customer communication strategies regarding pricing changes to maintain long-term relationships and minimize churn.
Monetization Strategy
- Oversee and continuously refine Vasion's pricing and packaging strategy across the product portfolio from initial engagement through ongoing adjustments.
- Assess various monetization models, such as subscription, tiered, value-based, and consumption-based pricing, recommending approaches aligned with customer segments and market dynamics.
- Create pricing frameworks for AI-powered features and products, including consumption and outcome-based models.
