About the Role
We are on the lookout for a Senior Pricing Operations Manager who will be pivotal in ensuring our pricing strategies are accurately implemented and uniformly applied across Salesforce CPQ, ERP, and other quoting platforms. In this vital position, you will convert approved pricing policies, promotions, bundles, and discount frameworks—established by our Pricing Leadership—into actionable system configurations that empower the Sales team.
This role is particularly focused on operationalizing pricing structures within our systems and offering strategic guidance to Sales concerning various pricing scenarios. Collaborating closely with the Revenue Proposal-to-Order Lead, who oversees the broader CPQ architecture, guided quoting processes, and proposal automation tools, you will ensure that pricing policies are executed correctly within the quoting framework.
This full-time, hybrid role is based in our Oakland, CA or Denver, CO offices, offering a balanced blend of remote flexibility and in-person teamwork, requiring two days in the office each week for collaboration and connection.
What You’ll Do
System Operationalization of Pricing Policy
- Translate approved pricing policies (discounts, promotions, bundles, and special terms) into actionable business requirements for our GTM systems team to implement in Salesforce CPQ, ERP, and related pricing systems.
- Develop pricing matrices, discount waterfalls, product catalogs, approval workflows, and quoting templates to ensure pricing accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with the Proposal-to-Order Lead and IT/Systems teams to design, test, and troubleshoot pricing configurations within the CPQ framework.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for pricing-related system configurations and policies.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements in pricing logic and quoting processes.
Quoting Operations Support
- Serve as a subject matter expert on pricing policies for Sales and the Deal Desk.
- Deliver training and enablement for sales teams on new pricing policies, system updates, and pricing best practices.
