As a key member of our design team, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to craft intuitive, user-centered experiences that effectively tackle real-world issues. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in uncertain environments, is capable of rapid execution without compromising quality, and can manage various priorities while always prioritizing the customer experience.
Your Daily Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive web experiences, overseeing the entire process from initial concept to final launch.
- Conduct user interviews and usability testing, utilizing both qualitative insights and quantitative data—monitoring user behavior, analyzing metrics, and running experiments—to validate and refine your designs.
- Work collaboratively with product, engineering, and business teams to define challenges, brainstorm solutions, and implement new features.
- Create simple, logical user flows that transform complex tasks into seamless experiences.
- Balance user needs with business objectives and technical limitations.
- Make informed trade-offs between speed, learning, and competing priorities.
- Lead design reviews with external partners, building compelling cases for your design choices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3+ years of experience designing modern digital products, with a robust portfolio highlighting end-to-end web design projects.
- Demonstrated success in creating 0-to-1 experiences from concept through launch.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with product and engineering teams in agile environments, clearly communicating design rationale and evaluating technical feasibility for simplification.
- Strong judgment in making data-driven decisions based on research, testing, and metrics; adept at prioritizing and making trade-offs without needing absolute certainty.
- Enthusiastic team player who is resourceful, passionate about solving customer problems, and open to feedback and course corrections.
- Bonus: Familiarity with AI tools such as Figma Make, and experience with design systems.
