About the Team
The Consumer Apps team oversees Roku’s primary user-facing applications, including The Roku Channel and the Roku Mobile App. We ensure that The Roku Channel is accessible across all Roku devices and other platforms, enhancing mobile experiences that allow users to discover, stream, and interact with the Roku ecosystem effectively. Collaboration is key as we work alongside Engineering, UX, Content, Data, and Business teams to create seamless, engaging experiences that promote user engagement and growth.
About the Role
In the role of Senior Product Manager for The Roku Channel, you will lead the streaming service experience on Roku’s flagship platform. This position demands a product visionary who is customer-centric, adept at understanding discovery and engagement dynamics, and capable of aligning viewer satisfaction with content and monetization objectives. You will design and implement user experiences that enable viewers to find great content easily, encourage repeat visits, and highlight Roku’s diverse content offerings. Collaboration with Design, Engineering, and Data/Analytics teams will be essential, as will working closely with a PM focused on Recommendations/Personalization to ensure a balanced approach to content merchandising and machine learning. This position reports to the Director of Product, Consumer Apps, and is based in San Jose, California.
