About the job
At Dura Vermeer, we are committed to crafting sustainable living and working environments where both the structures and their purpose harmoniously blend together, focusing on quality of life, health, and climate adaptation. This commitment is encapsulated in our philosophy of 'Doing Good'. The southern region, encompassing Noord-Brabant and Limburg, presents numerous opportunities for dynamic real estate and area developments. With ambitious growth on the horizon, we are seeking a motivated Project Developer who shares our vision and is eager to work on impactful projects and concepts—both in urban settings and expansion areas. Do you see opportunities where others do not and wish to realize projects that truly matter? If so, we would love to meet you!
Your Role
As a Senior Project Developer, you will spearhead real estate and area development projects with a strong emphasis on residential construction. You will oversee the entire development process—from initial feasibility studies through to realization and handover. Your responsibilities will include identifying market opportunities, developing value-adding plans, and ensuring smooth execution. You will maintain a balance between profitability, quality, and social significance.
Your expertise enables you to connect various interests and translate plans into distinctive, feasible, and future-proof projects. You will keep track of financial, legal, and spatial aspects, ensuring that projects align with our sustainability, quality of life, and innovation ambitions. As a conductor of collaboration, you will foster teamwork and set the strategic direction, with a keen eye for detail.
Collaboration is deeply embedded in our DNA. As a Project Developer at Dura Vermeer, you will never work in isolation; you will always connect with others. You will leverage the expertise of fellow developers, our area studio ID, concept developers, and construction teams to translate your plans into viable and distinctive projects. Externally, you will actively seek collaboration with public and private partners such as municipalities, provinces, housing corporations, investors, designers, and community organizations.
You will also play a crucial role in participatory processes involving the community and stakeholders. You understand the immense value of involving residents, entrepreneurs, and community parties early in the project development phase. By listening attentively, managing expectations, and engaging in dialogue, you will build support and trust. This involvement not only enriches the process and enhances project quality but ultimately strengthens the living environment we create together—spaces where people enjoy living, working, and gathering.
