Role Overview: Senior Public Relations Manager
As the PR Manager for Adyen in LATAM, you will spearhead our communication strategies across Latin America. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our narrative for various stakeholders, with a key focus on amplifying our media presence in the region. You will aim to secure high-impact media coverage in top-tier national publications, television, radio, and leading technology platforms.
Your mission is to establish Adyen as a prominent leader and influential acquirer in LATAM, enhancing our visibility through earned media across consumer, business, and B2B channels.
This fast-paced environment calls for a highly motivated, independent self-starter who is adept at managing a diverse range of tasks. You will be responsible for aligning all communications with Adyen LATAM's overarching business objectives and goals, ultimately driving our digital footprint and brand recognition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a clear connection between PR activities and business outcomes in Brazil and Mexico, focusing on pipeline growth, merchant awareness, and supporting Sales & Marketing initiatives.
- Articulate thought leadership through compelling narratives on payment innovations, regulatory shifts, and market trends in LATAM.
- Lead crisis communications by developing and implementing strategies to mitigate potential reputational risks in the region.
- Enhance executive visibility by preparing regional leadership for media engagements, public speaking opportunities, and market positioning.
- Craft engaging stories that simplify complex financial technology concepts for media and stakeholders.
- Coordinate PR strategies for major regional events (e.g., Casa Adyen, VTEX Day) to maximize coverage and impact.
- Utilize analytics to measure and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and adapt strategies accordingly.
