About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage automation to elevate quality outcomes across various product engineering teams. Your efforts will shape our risk management processes, embed shift-left practices, and sustain scalable automation. You will champion quality from discovery through release, ensuring platform reliability, scalability, and safety as we continue to grow. Core Responsibilities
- Drive quality outcomes across multiple product engineering teams through automation, enhancing confidence, risk awareness, and decision-making during releases.
- Develop and scale mobile automation for our React Native applications, establishing a maintainable suite from the ground up.
- Define quality signals and coverage for mobile applications on iOS and Android, prioritizing high-risk user journeys and maintaining valuable regression.
- Lead system-level risk assessment, designing lean test strategies, and ensuring teams own and implement necessary mitigations.
- Establish clear quality standards and scalable validation patterns for teams to adopt, improving consistency and closing gaps.
- Promote shift-left practices across teams by influencing discovery and design for testability, enhancing the quality of early checks.
- Manage automation health for critical user journeys, improving reliability, reducing flakiness, and bolstering long-term maintainability.
- Curate and advance cross-team regression coverage, ensuring it remains risk-based, efficient, and aligned with platform priorities.
- Lead responses to critical quality risks and incidents, ensuring proactive management of quality concerns.
