Salary:
This role offers an annual salary ranging from $130,000 to $150,000 plus a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) that includes a 1% commission. The precise salary will be influenced by the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
Position Overview:
The Senior Regional Sales Account Manager is tasked with developing and selling the complete line of Global Automation solutions, with a primary focus on the StorFast ASRS products. The role is supported by Proposal Engineers, Project Managers, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service teams. The position covers the Americas, with travel primarily domestic and some international travel expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess advanced knowledge of Signode’s equipment offerings.
- Execute the following tasks professionally, including but not limited to:
- Conducting end-user site visits to identify optimal equipment solutions.
- Visiting key accounts to devise effective selling strategies.
- Performing customer site audits.
- Preparing and presenting executive summaries both internally and externally.
- Identifying sales opportunities, strategizing for market penetration, and generating proposals.
- Preparing economic justifications with a focus on return on investment.
- Negotiating pricing and terms with customers.
- Acting as a liaison to the consumables team by providing tracking of equipment and prospects.
- Regularly update and maintain the CRM to ensure a consistent pipeline of opportunities.
- Lead training opportunities for peers to enhance team performance and product knowledge.
- Engage in training and personal development initiatives offered by Signode.
- Develop a significant understanding of the assigned market segment by attending trade shows, meetings, and industry groups.
- Maintain competitive analysis within the market segment.
- Mentor and coach new hires or those unfamiliar with segment sales.
