We are currently seeking a Senior Risk Consultant to strengthen our team based in Birmingham, London, Manchester, or Bristol. In this role, you will implement and advise on Risk Management solutions for AECOM's major infrastructure projects across diverse sectors.
As part of the Integrated Programme Controls team, you will engage with senior stakeholders and collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to accurately assess risk exposure, support effective governance, and facilitate informed decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with project teams to ensure effective risk management implementation
- Providing risk management input for bids and proposals to secure new business
- Performing risk assurance checks to ensure quality project and programme risk management
- Communicating key risk management data to senior leadership
- Producing detailed risk reports to aid decision-making
- Coaching and mentoring staff in risk management best practices
- Facilitating risk identification, assessment, and prioritisation
- Creating comprehensive Risk Registers, Management Plans, and Mitigation Plans
- Conducting Quantitative Risk Analysis using methodologies such as Monte Carlo simulations
- Designing and implementing risk management frameworks
- Supporting cost, scheduling, and project control teams as needed
