The Role
In this role, you will be instrumental in establishing Nivoda's Risk Operations framework. As we embark on this exciting journey, you will manage the initial stages of the customer journey—from onboarding to the first purchase—ensuring that all risk assessments and compliance procedures are meticulously executed. This position is a vital part of our global Fintech team and is essential for developing scalable, technology-driven workflows to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
What You’ll Do
Lead the Onboarding Funnel: Oversee the complete risk assessment process for new clients, guaranteeing compliance from onboarding through to their first transaction.
Build from Scratch: Establish standards, develop scalable processes, and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Risk Operations function.
Internal Collaboration: Partner with departments such as Sales and Customer Support to manage risk effectively, without direct customer communication.
Execute Risk-Based KYB: Perform comprehensive risk evaluations and navigate complex ownership structures through a risk-based lens.
Drive Tech Implementation: Leverage key tools like AiPrise, ComplyAdvantage, and Onfido to enhance and automate processes, ensuring efficiency.
Monitor Performance: Establish and track KPIs for process efficiency and carry out performance analyses to promote continuous improvement within the team.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: A minimum of 3 years in KYB and Transaction Risk Management (TRM) within a fast-paced startup or tech environment.
Tech-Savvy Expertise: Proficient in utilizing technological tools for risk assessment and management.
