About the Role:
We are in search of a proactive and results-oriented Senior Sales & Application Engineer to enhance our Sales team. This position is perfect for individuals with a robust mechanical engineering background and a drive for propelling business growth through innovative sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute sales strategies to achieve departmental objectives within the designated territory.
- Project sales forecasts, establish performance benchmarks, and ensure timely collections and regulatory compliance.
- Support and manage channel partners to boost sales and elevate customer satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory levels and liaise with back-office teams to fulfill demand effectively.
- Analyze sales trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) to implement corrective measures.
- Provide consistent market insights and reports to the Head of Sales & Marketing.
- Adhere to environmental, health, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; an MBA in Sales/Marketing is advantageous.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, and strategic planning.
- Extensive knowledge of the abrasive, cutting tools, stainless steel pipe, and utensil industries, along with sales applications, is preferred.
