As a Senior Sales Manager at Accor Hotels, you will spearhead the management of high-value and strategic accounts, fostering robust client relationships while driving the department's sales performance through effective engagement and visionary leadership. Your role will involve active sales calls, providing mentorship to Sales Managers and Executives, overseeing account quality, managing intricate negotiations within established parameters, and identifying critical opportunities or risks for the Director of Sales (DOS). This pivotal position is essential for maintaining exemplary standards of account management and operational excellence within the Sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve daily sales call targets with a focus on quality and effectiveness.
Oversee key strategic, high-value, or complex accounts.
Mentor and nurture the development of Sales Managers and Sales Executives.
Support the onboarding and training of new Sales team members.
Ensure compliance with hotel and sales operational standards across the team.
Craft proposals, quotations, and standardized contracts.
Conduct client follow-ups and site inspections.
Maintain precise and up-to-date account information in the CRM system.
Generate weekly business leads for the hotel.
Create a weekly list of accounts to target for the upcoming week.
Review account profiles weekly, including production and average rates.
Monitor competitors’ pricing, account penetration, and market dynamics.
Manage assigned accounts holistically, including contracting, profile updates, and renewals.
Promote hotel facilities and services through upselling and cross-selling.
Conduct negotiations within authorized parameters.
Participate in client and community business events to enhance brand visibility.
Update the DOS on market trends, business leads, and client insights.
Foster positive client relationships and respond to inquiries promptly.
Handle client concerns with professionalism and tact, escalating when necessary.
Coordinate group arrangements, ensuring communication and requirements are met.
Ensure accurate group booking input and system updates.
Collaborate with internal departments to guarantee service delivery.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and safety protocols.
Engage in sales activities and promotional campaigns to drive business growth.
