Join our dynamic Neuroscience research team as a Senior Scientist I specializing in histology. We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative individual who will lead the design, execution, and communication of pioneering multi-disciplinary research. This role is pivotal in applying advanced histological and imaging techniques to propel our Migraine and Pain programs forward, facilitating the discovery of new therapeutic options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of histological techniques and collaborate with project teams to enhance program development through data-driven insights.
- Demonstrate expertise in tissue processing and sectioning from various neurological tissues, including spinal cord, brain, trigeminal ganglia, and dorsal root ganglia, alongside proficiency in tissue staining and imaging analysis.
- Utilize multiplexed immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization to investigate the mechanistic effects of test compounds and validate novel targets from both human and animal tissues.
- Communicate research findings effectively through comprehensive lab reports and active participation in team meetings.
- Innovate by introducing and establishing cutting-edge histological techniques and analytical approaches.
- Exhibit adaptability, creativity, and a strong quantitative mindset.
- Contribute actively to Migraine and Pain-related projects within a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
