Position Overview
As a proactive and skilled Senior Security Detection and Monitoring Engineer, your primary focus will be on Security Operations, Detection Engineering, Threat Detection, and Incident Response. You will design and implement security solutions aimed at enhancing detection capabilities within the Adyen ecosystem, automating intricate manual processes, and investigating security incidents. In essence, your goal will be to build and manage a highly effective security detection and response system!
Our Approach
- Collaboration: You will work closely with security, product, development, and infrastructure teams to create meaningful detections and respond to alerts. We believe in teamwork, not isolation.
- Tool Development: You will implement sophisticated detection logic in our proprietary security monitoring tool using advanced Python programming skills. This role requires strong expertise in Python development; mere scripting will not suffice.
- Operational Excellence: As a security engineer, you will also act as a security analyst and incident responder, addressing alerts from our monitoring system.
