Your Impact
We are in search of a Security Compliance Program Manager to act as a key external leader for cloud service authorization and compliance initiatives within the US State & Local market, overseeing programs such as CJIS, and collaborating on extensive government authorization projects (e.g., FedRAMP/GovRAMP where applicable).
This position is ideal for an individual who can intertwine technical proficiency with trusted stakeholder leadership: engaging with customers, auditors, authorizing bodies, and internal teams to ensure dependable outcomes and enhanced customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
Location: This role is based in our Seattle, WA Office, adhering to a hybrid schedule. We emphasize in-person collaboration and require team members to work on-site from Tuesday to Friday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays unless an approved workplace accommodation is in place. - Serve as the primary contact and subject matter authority for government authorization and security compliance for Axon cloud services in the US State & Local market, including adherence to CJIS Security Policy.
- Oversee security compliance responsibilities among internal teams and external stakeholders (customers, audit teams, authorizing bodies) to ensure commitments, timelines, and deliverables are met.
- Lead assessor/auditor readiness and coordination: manage evidence requests, response SLAs, interview arrangements, stakeholder preparation, and executive-level program updates.
- Maintain and oversee authorization and compliance documentation (policies, procedures, plans, and authorization packages as relevant), ensuring precision, clarity, and consistency.
- Implement and enhance security assurance and compliance activities to meet evolving requirements.
