Mobile Wave Solutions is a dynamic professional services firm dedicated to delivering top-tier software development solutions. With a talented team of over 120 engineers, we empower our global clientele to innovate and expand through scalable, high-quality software. We prioritize collaboration, technical excellence, and a pragmatic approach to tackling complex challenges.
Role Overview
Are you an experienced AWS professional who thrives on independence and impactful projects? We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (AWS) to take comprehensive ownership of our cloud infrastructure. In this key role, you will serve as the primary technical authority, responsible for architecting, securing, and advancing our global cloud services.
This position is perfect for an engineer who enjoys overseeing the entire lifecycle of a platform—from high-level architectural design to operational excellence. You will act as the Technical Anchor for all AWS-related incidents and be the hands-on control owner for our ISO 27001 compliance, ensuring that our platform remains resilient, secure, and cost-efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Build and enhance all AWS environments, ensuring they comply with strict availability, performance, and disaster recovery standards.
Maintain the security posture of the AWS environment. Design and implement secure patterns for IAM, VPC segmentation, and ingress/egress controls.
Participate in on-call duties as the primary AWS responder, driving technical triage and hands-on remediation for P1/P2 incidents while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Define SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets to assess service health. Proactively identify reliability risks and minimize operational toil through automation and self-healing infrastructure.
Provide hands-on leadership during ISO 27001 audits by managing technical documentation, maintaining automated audit evidence, and ensuring infrastructure aligns with security control areas.
Secure and maintain CI/CD pipelines, establishing organizational standards for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure all changes are controlled, versioned, and auditable.
