We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team of machine learning engineers, software developers, and algorithm specialists who are developing software for geospatial analytics, focusing on the exploitation of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery.
The Senior Software Engineer at Voyager Technologies will be responsible for the architecture, design, and leadership in the development of software systems that process, manage, and visualize extensive geospatial datasets to support essential capabilities for U.S. government and other clients.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing, implementing, and owning software systems for the processing, management, and distribution of geospatial data, particularly SAR imagery.
- Building scalable data pipelines and backend services to support geospatial data workflows.
- Developing tools and services for geospatial visualization, analysis, and data distribution.
- Designing and implementing database architectures, schemas, and data models to support geospatial datasets.
