Our Client
Our client is a rapidly growing fintech startup revolutionizing the way e-commerce brands secure and recover their revenue. Their innovative platform automates chargeback prevention and dispute resolution, streamlining what has traditionally been a manual and cumbersome process into a fast, intelligent, and efficient workflow.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who excels in dynamic environments and takes pride in owning complex, mission-critical systems. In this pivotal role, you will manage a vital segment of our payments dispute resolution platform and contribute to its evolution into a robust, scalable, and dependable product.
As one of the first LATAM-based engineers, you will join a small, high-impact team that works closely with an offshore development partner. Our current codebase is a production-ready PHP/CodeIgniter system that has rapidly expanded with a lean team—therefore, technical debt, limited test coverage, and performance challenges exist. If you are excited by the prospect of enhancing and modernizing real-world systems, this position is perfect for you.

Write, review, and refactor code while addressing production issues.
Systematically reduce technical debt without hindering product delivery.
Collaborate closely with our offshore development team.
Make pragmatic technical decisions that balance immediate impact with long-term maintainability.
Build foundational tests and enhance overall code quality.
