We are excited to invite a Senior Solutions Architect to our dynamic team. This pivotal role is highly collaborative and customer-focused, blending hands-on technical expertise with innovative problem-solving, creativity, influence, and a consultative approach.
In this role, you will engage closely with Sales, Technical Services, Product Management, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams to provide technical guidance and develop impactful solutions for both prospective and current customers, thus driving the future of our products and the industry at large.
Your responsibilities will include identifying the key challenges faced by platform engineering teams, crafting solutions utilizing our versatile and scalable platform, and presenting your solutions and thought leadership on both virtual and physical stages. With the backing of Buildkite, you will adeptly navigate internal and external stakeholders through the technical validation process, propelling the industry forward.
What You’ll Do
- Work in tandem with Sales to uncover business opportunities aligned with our platform.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their CI/CD architectures and workflows, pinpointing areas for improved efficiency and outcomes.
- Create and deliver compelling demonstrations that highlight our capabilities.
- Guide prospects through technical proofs-of-concept to secure their confidence in our solutions.
- Advise clients on migrating from their existing solutions to Buildkite’s uniquely differentiated platform, including our dynamic pipeline approach.
- Serve as a technical liaison between clients and Product Engineering, relaying tactical and strategic insights to inform product development.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in CI/CD and software delivery, which you will help shape.
- Utilize storytelling techniques to convey value and assist clients in validating Buildkite as their ideal solution.
- Enhance the Sales team’s knowledge and market positioning through education.
- Represent Buildkite at various industry events and conferences to raise awareness, generate excitement, and engage with the development and operations communities.
- Close sales deals and celebrate the successes achieved through your consultative technical expertise, showcasing the bright future that clients can expect with Buildkite.
