SPACE SYSTEMS

Rocket Lab’s Space Systems team encompasses all satellite and satellite component production at Rocket Lab. This includes complete satellites intended for lunar and Martian missions, as well as individual components and subsystems like solar panels, flight software, reaction wheels, star trackers, separation systems, radios, and more. Our talented team of engineers, technicians, and designers work collaboratively to develop and assemble satellites for a wide range of missions across commercial, governmental, and defense sectors.

SENIOR SPACECRAFT OPERATIONS ENGINEER I/II - Top Secret Clearance

Located at Rocket Lab's headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the Senior Spacecraft Operations Engineer I/II plays a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and optimal performance of our expanding fleet of satellites. This position is responsible for meeting mission objectives and service level agreements (SLAs) for both commercial and government clients. The role involves supporting a variety of missions, including low Earth orbit (LEO) constellations, interplanetary exploration, LEO rendezvous, and Space Development Agency (SDA) related deployments.
