The Senior Specialist in Medical Communications & Scientific Publications will be instrumental in achieving Telix's strategic objectives by executing the scientific publications and communications strategy. This pivotal role involves the effective dissemination of highly complex scientific information regarding Telix products through the creation of medical writing and communication materials, which include slide presentations and scientific manuscripts (e.g., clinical trial results, real-world evidence, health economics outcomes, literature reviews). Collaboration with authors, key opinion leaders, and internal stakeholders is essential, along with conducting rigorous quality checks and edits to ensure deliverables are of the highest quality and aligned with the medical communications plan and scientific platform.
This individual will lead the overall development process, including literature reviews and background research, drafting outlines and multiple draft iterations, and collecting, collating, and integrating feedback from authors and reviewers. Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (e.g., Clinical Science, Clinical Operations, Product Portfolio/Global Commercial, Research & Innovation, Marketing, Market Access, Intellectual Property, Medical Information, and Pharmacovigilance Teams) will be key to driving corporate goals throughout the organization.
Key Accountabilities:
- Medical Writing – Lead the creation of key medical communications deliverables (e.g., primary and secondary manuscripts, review articles, abstracts, posters/orals). Ensure project timelines are maintained in accordance with publication objectives and adherence to best practices, including the compilation of required materials such as authorship disclosures.
- Medical Editing and Quality Assurance – Conduct thorough quality reviews and checks to ensure all communications meet the highest standards.
