The Role
We are seeking a Senior Staff Data Scientist to spearhead the technical strategy for our decision-making engines. You will work at the crossroads of Data Science and Software Engineering, architecting large-scale systems that enhance a variety of business operations—from Growth & Pricing to Underwriting & Collections. Your focus will extend beyond basic model development to designing robust, reproducible MLOps pipelines that facilitate real-time financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Domain Technical Strategy: Lead the creation of machine learning solutions across various contexts, ensuring efficient utilization of shared infrastructure for models concerning Credit Risk, Pricing Elasticity, and Collection Optimization.
- MLOps Architecture: Advocate for the integration of modern Model Serving frameworks and Feature Stores. Design workflows that guarantee feature consistency between training and real-time inference.
- Engineering Standards: Set high standards for Data Versioning, experimentation tracking, and Hyperparameter Optimization, ensuring reproducibility and readiness for production.
- Production Deployment: Manage the transition of models from development environments to low-latency production APIs, ensuring proper wrapping, containerization, and seamless integration with backend services.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance to the team on Python software engineering best practices, including testing strategies, code organization, and performance enhancement.
