What You Will Do:
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to design high-reliability and safety-critical aircraft systems.
- Lead a cross-functional team to:
- Perform operational and functional analyses.
- Establish and decompose system requirements, ensuring traceability throughout the system architecture.
- Create robust system and subsystem architectures, including interface definitions.
- Define and manage performance measures related to cost, weight, and performance objectives.
- Ensure full system compliance with safety regulations.
- Work with diverse technical teams to develop verification plans, support test planning, and validate compliance with system requirements.
- Coordinate with regulators and DERs in the development and review of certification substantiation artifacts.
- Collaborate closely with the chief engineer to ensure alignment with business and certification requirements.
