ABM Facility Services UK is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Supervisor to join our dynamic team on a full-time permanent basis, serving a prestigious client in the Bowburn area. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Site Operations Manager to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and waste management both internally and externally. Your efforts will ensure that the facility, along with all associated service roads and car parks, is impeccably maintained and safe through a comprehensive janitorial and waste management program.
This challenging position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment, demonstrating both independence and teamwork abilities. You will need to prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to ever-changing situations. Flexibility in working hours is essential as you will oversee a team of up to 70 members, supporting a 24/7 operation. Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead our efficient janitorial and waste removal team within a warehouse setting, ensuring all duties are performed effectively and efficiently.
- Assist the Site Operations Manager in fulfilling the contract requirements in alignment with company policies and procedures, including managing budgets for both team members and non-team members.
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards, remaining adaptable to the operational needs and suggesting initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Provide professional support in service-related matters and represent the ABM brand positively.
- Oversee team member schedules, payroll processes, and compliance with staffing levels.
- Support the Site Operations Manager in managing absence records, including sickness and annual leave for all site personnel.
- Ensure adherence to quality performance metrics (KPIs / SLAs) and address any non-compliance issues professionally.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention strategies for team members.
- Conduct and oversee daily and weekly client audits in collaboration with the Site Operations Manager.
