ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer for Electrical components is a vital, cross-functional role that significantly influences the development and production processes within Anduril’s essential supply base. This position requires close collaboration with internal engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and manufacturing teams, alongside direct engagement with suppliers to implement effective, innovative supply chain strategies that meet production objectives.
We seek a skilled Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer to hasten the qualification and integration of product designs with our suppliers, enhancing these designs for quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness throughout the product lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage electrical commodities and subcategories (including cables, harnesses, capacitors, connectors, PCBs, and chips) to implement supplier production strategies across Anduril’s business sectors.
- Enhance the Supply Chain team's efforts and overall commodity strategy through ownership, proactivity, technical expertise, creativity, independence, and decisiveness.
- Evaluate suppliers' production capacities, factory layouts, and workforce to determine eligibility for inclusion in the Approved Supplier List.
- Assist Supply Chain Product Sourcing Engineers (PSE), Global Strategic Sourcing Management (GSS), and Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) in ensuring suppliers comprehend and adhere to part quality standards established by SQE.
- Oversee the introduction of new production tooling and lines at supplier sites to guarantee materials, processes, and tools meet product performance and quality requirements.
- Manage capacity readiness and production ramp-up initiatives at the supplier level.
- Establish and optimize process performance controls (SPC) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
