Your Impact
As a Senior Systems Engineer I, you will lead the hardware lifecycle for state-of-the-art RF-based counter-drone detection systems, collaborating with teams in engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and compliance. Your input will shape crucial early technical decisions, including concept development and component selection.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the complete lifecycle of RF sensor hardware, from initial prototypes to full-scale production and ongoing support.
- Facilitate early-stage development through concept definition and component selection (including RF, compute, power, and interfaces).
- Advance manufacturing readiness by focusing on design for manufacturability, testing, pilot productions, and continuous optimization.
- Work closely with production, suppliers, and quality assurance teams to address production challenges, enhance yield, and implement product modifications.
- Assist in compliance and certification processes (e.g., RED/FCC), including test planning, lab coordination, and technical documentation.
- Lead system-level integration across RF subsystems, mechanical and electrical interfaces, and supporting compute and power elements.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams to produce robust, manufacturable systems.
