We are on the lookout for a Senior Technical Consultant to join our Customer Success team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with our clients post-sales to design and implement software solutions on the Appian platform. These applications empower organizations to drive digital transformation and obtain a competitive edge. Your primary responsibilities will encompass the entire project lifecycle—from defining and designing to developing and deploying custom software and AI solutions for our commercial clients. This work will take place in an agile environment, where you will engage with clients to understand their business processes and technical requirements, launch new relational data models into production, and develop APIs for system integration. You will brainstorm innovative AI applications and implement Appian's AI tools, utilizing retrieval augment generation (RAG), agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and the latest generative models to revolutionize how customers operate their organizations. Additionally, you will work closely with clients’ technical teams and business users throughout the software development lifecycle, fostering client self-sufficiency in building process applications independently.
This position is based at our headquarters in McLean, VA. At Appian, we prioritize in-person collaboration, which we believe is vital to our mission of excellence. Employees in this role are expected to be in the office 4 - 5 days per week to promote a culture of teamwork, idea-sharing, and connection with the remarkable individuals at Appian.
