About the Role
In the position of Senior Technical Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role as the primary interface driving high-impact initiatives throughout our Mobile Engineering organization. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of projects from significant technical enhancements that form the foundation of our platform to the implementation of innovative tools, processes, and metrics. You will be tasked with standardizing operations to ensure execution, efficiency, and consistency; managing dependencies, assessing technical risks, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability for your initiatives while maintaining clear and effective communication with senior stakeholders.
At Compass You Will:
- Lead cross-organizational mobile initiatives at Compass.
- Oversee the complete life cycle of key programs, including detailed functional planning, stakeholder communication, and issue resolution. Foster awareness of inter-dependencies and prioritize execution plans to minimize operational disruptions.
- Facilitate business-critical planning and execution for high-impact mobile projects, orchestrating cross-functional launches of features for agents and clients while ensuring mobile infrastructure stability and consistent feature delivery across the company.
- Plan, manage, and deliver multiple technical programs that may span various organizations and locations (Boston, New York, Washington D.C., Seattle).
- Contribute significantly to the agile practices at Compass and high-level planning, both quarterly and annually.
- Be responsible for KPIs associated with your programs and the mobile team.
- Drive process improvements that enhance developer velocity and reduce mobile delivery costs across the organization.
- Utilize data and metrics to create clarity and facilitate decision-making through well-crafted narratives for executive and team-level audiences.
