Your Impact
As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will utilize your leadership and technical expertise to collaborate with engineering and product management teams to propel projects from their initial concept through design, development, and deployment. You will work within a close-knit team comprising five members at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and Finance to enhance spending decisions that align with our product and financial strategies. Instead of merely establishing cost-controls and approvals, we empower our engineering teams with budgets, guiding them in understanding, forecasting, and optimizing their expenditures while ensuring their development pace remains intact.
We seek an experienced Technical Program Manager with a background in working with engineering teams in cloud-hosted distributed service environments. You should have a proven track record of executing and coordinating complex software deliverables across various teams and roles. In this position, you will partner closely with VPs of Engineering and Finance. A key aspect of this role involves understanding or researching AWS and Azure pricing models to assist teams during architectural design in selecting the most cost-effective solutions. Achieving success means integrating financial insights early in the software design process, while failure could result in launching features that are prohibitively expensive to operate. Outstanding success will involve transforming this function into a scalable, repeatable process beyond your individual contributions.
