As a Senior VFX Production Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the entire production team throughout each project's lifecycle, from pre-production to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an up-to-date project shot list. Collaborate with the VFX Supervisor and VFX Producer to establish and adhere to project timelines.
- Track the progress of shots and sequences, ensuring artists meet their goals. Provide real-time project updates as necessary.
- Update all documentation related to project tracking (shot lists, schedules, timelines, etc.).
- Collect, disseminate, and manage internal and client feedback notes.
- Facilitate the flow of information between departments and clients. Oversee the transfer and reception of files in conjunction with the production assistant.
- Ensure that artists have the necessary information and resources to start their work efficiently.
- Set weekly objectives in coordination with the VFX Supervisor and VFX Producer. Conduct daily check-ins with each artist assigned to the project to clarify objectives, address questions, and monitor progress.
- Anticipate and raise any concerns regarding goals and deadlines based on daily artist activity.
- Organize, manage, and attend meetings, transfers, and reviews with the VFX Supervisor and artists, ensuring all notes are communicated effectively to the team.
- Prepare the agenda for daily meetings and take detailed notes throughout.
- Keep artists and supervisors informed of client notes, changes in plans, and modifications, assessing the impact on ongoing work. Relay pertinent information to the producer when timeline implications arise.
- Evaluate and validate all work with the VFX Supervisors to ensure approval and distribution of notes to the relevant team members.
