Join AECOM’s Water Business Line as a Senior Water Conveyance Project Manager and play a pivotal role in transforming water infrastructure across the nation. This position is based in one of our U.S. offices, including locations such as Boston, Buffalo, Conshohocken, Germantown, Rocky Hill, or Chelmsford. You will have the opportunity to provide vital support to projects throughout the United States.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate civil or structural engineer with substantial experience in pipeline design and installation, as well as in areas such as failure analysis, condition assessment, and rehabilitation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical lead for pipeline rehabilitation and design initiatives.
- Engage with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with pipeline design experts to develop and evaluate design and construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Conduct field inspections and assessments to ensure adherence to design standards and regulations, while evaluating pipeline integrity and recommending renewal solutions.
- Participate in projects focused on pipeline failure analysis and forensic investigations.
- Oversee projects from planning through design and construction services for new and rehabilitated pipe designs related to water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure.
- Conduct pressure pipe design and stress analysis.
- Demonstrate understanding of construction methodologies such as open-cut and trenchless techniques (micro tunneling, jack and bore, etc.) for water and sewer systems.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to AECOM project teams, performing quality reviews of their work.
- Engage in technical writing, ensuring clarity and precision in engineering reports and documentation.
- Prepare engineering services proposals, fee estimates, and project timelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and regulations, sharing knowledge with junior staff.
- Participate in industry organizations and committees to contribute to standards and best practices development.
- Be an active member of AECOM’s Technical Practice Network groups, embracing leadership opportunities.
- This position will require travel across the United States.
