Are you an experienced facilities professional with a passion for enhancing processes, taking charge, and guiding future developments? If so, this role is tailored for you! As the Service Manager for Facilities Management, you will establish structure, direct suppliers, and actively contribute to the evolution of our workplace environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for strategically and tactically managing facilities services across the following domains:
Security, Safety & Technology (including security, reception, emergency response, and building installations);
Housing (including workspace design, furniture, art, landscaping, and caretakers).
Your fellow Service Manager oversees the domains of Hospitality and Mobility & Hygiene. You will collaborate closely on strategic themes while focusing on your individual area. Together with the Manager of Facilities Management, you will ensure a sustainable facilities strategy and the professionalization of service delivery.
In the coming year, you will take the lead as a project manager in further implementing our new workplace concept. The foundation has been established, and your mission is to translate the vision of agile working into actionable and sustainable solutions within our office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide design and layout decisions, ensuring an optimal balance between functionality, experience, and technical feasibility.
Coordinate with suppliers, user groups, and stakeholders to ensure that decisions are widely supported and aligned with organizational needs.
Procure products and services in close collaboration with Procurement, including specifications, award criteria, and quality assurance.
Oversee implementation and delivery, including planning, coordination of tasks, and a thorough aftercare phase.
The scope encompasses our entire office environment and requires strong project management skills, oversight, decisiveness, and the ability to constructively connect varying interests.
Department and Team
The Facilities Management operates under a management model and is responsible for all facilities services within the AFM. You will join a dedicated and professional team focused on continuous improvement and further professionalization of service delivery.
