Primary Function of Position
This role encompasses a variety of essential functions as defined by management, and is not limited to the tasks listed. Management retains the right to assign or reassign duties as necessary, including for reasonable accommodations.
Working under general supervision, you will execute a diverse range of skilled technical maintenance, repair, and testing on intricate digital and analog electronic components, as well as electrical and electromechanical parts, cable assemblies, sub-assemblies, and systems. This support extends to a spectrum of Robotic Systems. Regular use of diagnostic software will be required for identifying equipment and system issues, alongside specialized testing tools, analyzers, digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, clocks, timers, calipers, voltmeters, power supplies, rulers, and other necessary test equipment.
Essential Job Duties
Analyze wiring diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, fab drawings, and mechanical component drawings to effectively carry out repairs and testing of FRUs.
Repair complex electromechanical assemblies in accordance with applicable work instructions and conduct thorough testing as required.
Assist with failure analysis and participate in the final testing of assemblies while accurately documenting findings.
Contribute to investigational teams for FRUs to provide valuable input as needed.
Communicate repair statuses with leads, supervisors, and other departments as necessary.
Provide detailed descriptions of failure symptoms encountered during repair, functional testing, and calibration to aid in component-level troubleshooting.
Conduct quality inspections of personal or team member work to ensure adherence to workmanship standards.
Follow GDP guidelines meticulously when completing documentation and initiate material requests as required.
Report quality issues and furnish necessary details for creating quality notifications (VR, PL) and record transactions in SAP to maintain traceability.
Adhere to all corporate safety standards, SOP, and DOP procedures and regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Communicate process flow recommendations to Leads, Supervisors, or Managers.
Exhibit excellent attendance and punctuality.
