About This Role
As a crucial member of the Service Operations team at DoorDash Labs, you will leverage your technical expertise to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on our fleet of robots and electric bicycles, ensuring they operate at optimal efficiency. You will collaborate closely with Senior Service Technicians and your manager to enhance your troubleshooting capabilities, gain deeper insights into our systems, and progressively tackle more complex repair tasks. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Mesa, AZ, requiring a commitment to 100% in-office attendance.
Your Excitement for This Role Will Be Driven By...
- Independently executing standard and intermediate Service Technician tasks, including the maintenance of robotic systems and electric bicycles.
- Diagnosing and repairing common issues in robotic platforms, modular components, electric bicycle drivetrains, and support vehicles using established troubleshooting protocols.
- Collaborating with senior technicians to address complex faults, gaining valuable insights into advanced diagnostic techniques for both robotic systems and e-bikes.
- Performing repairs on electrical systems, control units, battery packs, and hardware under supervision, with opportunities to progress to independent advanced repairs.
- Utilizing technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic flowcharts to effectively guide your service tasks for robots and electric bicycles.
- Maintaining accurate records of all diagnostic procedures, repair actions, and component failures in our service management system to support fleet readiness.
- Learning from seasoned technicians, welcoming mentorship, and applying constructive feedback to enhance your skills across various vehicle types.
- Adhering to preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of our fleet.
