Compensation: $24 - $30 per hour, commensurate with experience and certification.
Role Overview: As a Veterinary Technician, you will be tasked with delivering care, examinations, evaluations, and treatments for animals following established protocols and under the guidance of veterinarians.

Work Schedule: Full-time; 40 hours per week (5 eight-hour shifts).
- Working Days: Sunday to Thursday.
- Shifts: 7 AM - 8:15 PM (Tuesday to Thursday), 7 AM - 6 PM (Sundays and Mondays).
- Please note: This position will transition to four 10.5-hour shifts starting May 2026.
Interview Process: Initial virtual interview via Microsoft Teams, followed by an on-site interview and job shadowing.
Key Responsibilities:
Veterinary Care:
- Administer daily treatments, medications, and monitor shelter animals under veterinary supervision.
- Assist veterinarians in executing medical and surgical procedures according to established guidelines.
- Assess incoming animals for potential placement, including conducting physical and behavior evaluations.
- Process returns of fostered animals and manage releases.
- Execute humane euthanasia for animals when adoption or partner placement is not feasible.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient care for animals.
Customer Service:
- Welcome clients arriving for scheduled appointments.
- Offer guidance on evaluation results, including re-homing resources or humane euthanasia options.
- Ensure timely completion of appointments and collect necessary fees.
- Schedule walk-in customers for stray animal or emergency appointments.
