Join us in our ShelterCare program, which operates 24/7 to provide a safe place for individuals experiencing homelessness. Our approach integrates housing and health supports to help residents exit the cycle of homelessness and secure permanent housing successfully. As a ShelterCare Support Worker, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to empower men facing homelessness to improve their health, wellness, and life skills. Your role will involve applying a trauma-informed, person-centered, and housing-first approach in direct interactions with residents.
This is a permanent, part-time position (15 hours per week) with personal days, vacation pay, group health benefits, and a defined contribution pension plan.
Work hours are overnight on Saturday and Sunday, from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
A successful Police Records Check (Vulnerable Sector) is required prior to employment.
