Shift Leader
Join Denny's as a Shift Leader, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing Guest satisfaction by overseeing financial controls, operational efficiency, and team dynamics during your assigned shift. You will be the go-to person for restaurant operations in the absence of management, ensuring everything runs smoothly under the guidance of the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee labor and inventory variance during your shifts.
- Provide clear production direction to Team Members.
- Lead by example, working diligently to implement shift plans and ensure efficient production.
- Delegate tasks to foster teamwork and adherence to Company standards.
- Inspire Team Members to exceed Guest expectations with outstanding food and service in a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with the team to respond to Guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and Company policies related to safety, food hygiene, and operations.
- Proactively report any safety, sanitation, or security violations to management and implement immediate corrective actions.
- Encourage Team Members to follow loss prevention procedures, maintaining a safe environment.
- Complete cash reporting, inventory control, and scheduling checklists during your shift.
- May perform essential functions as outlined in the Team Member job description.
- Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain punctual and regular attendance during assigned shifts.
